Remove Sprocket From Schwinn Spinner Problem Removing The Front Sprocket On A Schwinn Bicycle.?

Problem removing the front sprocket on a Schwinn bicycle.? - remove sprocket from schwinn spinner

How do you remove the sprocket, the chain drive on a Schwinn bike? (not sure about the years, but is a model of "College"). I did not remove the pedals to resolve the slots in the CAP at the base of the stem, then remove the nut behind it. I thought to pull the rod and screw or not, but it is really tight there. Do I need a special tool to the crank arm? Although on the wheel I find the date on which it was made? Thank you in advance for your help.

The slides on the pinion shaft. The crown has a big hole in the center and a small hole that goes to a casting in the crank pin. If you have the nut and washer behind her, she can train. When stuck, spray with WD-40. Then to go a few minutes with a hammer in the back.
