Cloth Ceiling Body Rust + Ceiling Cloth Restoration?

Body rust + ceiling cloth restoration? - cloth ceiling

I bought a '84 Buick Riviera to sail, if I want to be fast :-) Some pieces of aluminum (such as door handles and bumpers to the front) oxidized. The rust is not gone from Tho only the surface oxide. I wonder whether the fixing rust sprays are good for the restoration of these pieces?

The body has some rust, the rust is still new in the region and still has its way through. What is the cheapest way to get them back? Is Grinding / primering / paint the only way?

The fabric roof of the car is a small drop (I will), almost all American cars in old age. How can I fix it? Is it necessary to cut around the edges and glue from the inside? If so, how and when did it myself?

Thank youNo payment in advance for any useful advice.

First aluminum does not rust. Aluminum will corrode, corrosion, white, but not rust. So if you make sure no rust is made of aluminum. The only way to get rid of surface rust, and leave with a smooth surface for painting, sand, shiny metal, nu. Then it must be painted with a compound of corrosion and treated. Fixing rust spraying is not a smooth surface. There are those who will kill the form, so that an iron oxide, but the surface will not be easy. The bumps in the track that has rust is what you get after the spraying. As for the flags. When it comes is better to take a professional upholsterer. They are a pain if you have no experience. I have a couple and do not alwayssecondly, because it too hard to get it looks good. Hope this helps and good luck.

Remove the headliner drag the rest of the way 3M spray adhesive (use the kind of destination heavvy) Lightly spray the piece that sticks with a rolling pin header instead of reinstalling dry overnight
